In an unusual injury Los Angeles Angels' left-handed relief pitcher Scott Downs will miss at least two weeks with a broken toe. Downs was “doing normal dad stuff at home” according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPNLosAngeles.com when his toe swelled up and turned purple.
“It's obviously very frustrating, but I think it's just a minor setback,” Downs says.
