Steve is filling in today while Ryan is out. I should mention a happy birthday wish for my son, who is 2 today, and already dominating my NFL pick’em league. Also, check out my college football post following this one!
For some reason on Sundays ESPN and now Fox Sports 1 seem to love to show tearjerker segments, which I’m usually not a fan of. This one, however, was pretty good.
I think the Broncos used this very odd video as motivation to destroy the Eagles today.
Former USC coach Lane Kiffin apparently got fired in a parking lot.
Honningsvåg 3, Stjørdalshalsen 2 – I made this up, but the cities are real.
Kansas City 3, Chicago 2 – 97 and counting
Cleveland 6, Minnesota 5 – The Twins wish they could be cool like the White Sox and have 4 more losses too
Kansas City 6, Chicago 1 – 98 and counting
Cleveland 12, Minnesota 6 – It’s like the Indians want to make the playoffs or something
Chicago 6, Kansas City 5 – The White Sox avoid the 100-loss season!
Cleveland 5, Minnesota 1 – Yep, Cleveland is on a mission, which means they will definitely lose the Wild Card 1-game playoff
Kansas City 4, Chicago 1 – The atrocity that was the 2013 White Sox season is finally over, their worst since 1970 and their 7th worst season in the 113-year team history.
Cleveland 5, Minnesota 1 – The Twins finish the season with the exact same record as last year (66-96). That’s what I call a turnaround!
San Francisco 35, St. Louis 11 – Playing the Rams cures all woes
Indianapolis 37, Jacksonville 3 – Last week’s win was impressive. This one is tough to tell because it was against a high school team. I’d like to thank the Colts defense for leading me to a win in both of my fantasy leagues this week
Iowa 23, Minnesota 7 – Getting crushed by Iowa at home can’t be good. Purdue will find out on November 9
Northern Illinois 55, Purdue 24 – This game got me really close to a writing a “Could Purdue Get Kicked Out of the Big Ten?” post. It’s a good thing my degree is more important than the success of this team
North Dakota State 20, South Dakota State 0 – Back to Back shutouts. They would be 14 point favorites on the road at Purdue
