Felix Hernandez to radio host who asks if he will stay in Seattle: ‘Yeah, I promise’
Fans, analysts and general managers around baseball cannot seem to accept that Felix Hernandez may stay with Seattle. The fact that King Felix is the best young pitcher in the game and recently threw a perfect game does not neccessarily guarantee he will be pitching in a mega-market like Boston or New York at some point in the near future. The Mariners have their ace under control...

Mariners 5 Indians 3: Speechless in Seattle
Yesterday, I uttered the phrase “I didn’t know what to say anymore” about this Indians team. 24 hours later, once again, they have left me speechless in the way they lost yet another game, their sixth in a row, this time to Eric Wedge and the Seattle Mariners. The days of good pitching, great defense, and timely hitting are long gone at this point. Now it’s essentially becoming...
Why the Mariners are Really Happy with Perfection
Last Wednesday, Felix Hernandez crafted his own place in the baseball history with just the 23rd perfect game in MLB history. As the city of Seattle watched their ace shoot himself into the record books, many businesses planned for a spike in their own books. The publicity and sense of Mariner pride brought out by this rare and spectacular performance reflected in sales; the businesses...
The M’s — How Great Thou Art
June 2nd, 1990—that’s a date that a lot of Mariners fans remember. Randy Johnson threw the first no-hitter in the franchise’s history. Now 22 years later, on the 35th anniversary of Mariners baseball, and on the year that Johnson was inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame, Felix Hernandez threw the Mariners’ first Perfect Game.
It seems only fitting that Johnson’s battery...

Surging Mariners hope to keep 2nd half rolling
(Eds: Adds details, quotes. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer For much of his first two seasons as manager of the Seattle Mariners, Eric Wedge has preached exactly what his team has practiced over the past month.
And while the Mariners' second-half surge is realistically too late to make a push for this postseason, it's at least giving hope that Seattle'...
The Chris Perez Fan Interaction Video is Very Entertaining

The first rule of thumb is; 1) don’t listen to stupid fans yelling, 2) don’t go over to the stands and engage in fans, and 3) most importantly – don’t say “get your d$ck out of your mouth”...
