Guess what Mariners fans. We've got another pitcher.

The M's locked up former all-star pitcher Kevin Milwood this weekend.

Millwood has a career 163-140 record, and was a National League All-Star in 1999, when he went 18-7 with a 2.68 ERA for the Atlanta Braves.

He's 37 now, but I still see him competing for a spot in the rotation behind Felix Hernandez, Jason Vargas and, Hasashi Iwakuma the free agent from Japan.

Another rotation candidate is right-hander Hector Noesi, whose acquisition from the Yankees, along with catcher Jesus Montero, is expected to be officially announced Monday.

He reunites with Eric Wedge and Carl Willis whom he played for in Cleveland in 2005.

He's another arm folks. An aging arm. But he's a former all-star, and by the sounds of it is motivated. We'll see.

9/214. Seriously, if you’re upset that the Mariners “missed out” on that deal, you’re nuts. Huzzah for the Mariners not wasting that kind of money on one player. -- This post came from: U.S.S.
