DENVER—It’s taken him almost nine years but Seattle Mariners right-hander Kevin Millwood pitched a complete game against the Colorado Rockies.
His no-hitter was reduced to a shutout in the sixth when third baseman Kyle Seager could not complete a sensational yet makeable play that popped out of his glove two outs deep into the inning.

When Eric Wedge was the manager of the Indians, I have to admit, I was a fan. I know I was in the minority, but I always liked the fact that he never got too high or too low.
