On Thursday an MRI confirmed that Miami Marlins pitcher Jacob Turner has a strained right shoulder. The injury occurred prior to Wednesday’s start against Washington. Turner hurt himself while taking batting practice Turner’s future going forward is unclear and the Marlins have gone ahead and placed the 22-year-old right hander on the disabled list. In his lone start this season he went six innings allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks.
