Miami Marlins righthander Josh Johnson is expected to start throwing in about two weeks.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Johnson is expected to be ready for spring training after having much of his 2011 season wiped out by shoulder woes.
Johnson, who will turn 28 at the end of the month, was off to a sensational start last season, going 3-1 with a 1.64 ERA in nine starts before going on the disabled list in mid-May.
He posted an 11-6 record with a 2.30 ERA in 2010 and won a career-high 15 games in 2009.
