The Marlins' 2013 Nationals Park record won't be pretty but at least it won't have a zero in it. Winless in their first eight games in the nation's capital the Marlins upended the Nationals 4-2 Sunday afternoon in the front end of a split doubleheader. Tom Koehler tossed six strong innings for his first win in more than a month and Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich each homered. The Nationals' loss clinched the National League East for the Braves. "I didn't know we were 0-for-Washington this year but it was good to get them" Yelich said. With his 32nd save Steve Cishek matched Todd Jones (2005) for club's all-time consecutive saves mark. For Cishek who last blew a save on June 4 the 27 straight also is the longest active streak in the majors. "I didn't imagine getting this many or a team record or anything like that" Cishek said. "I had a little more adrenaline pumping. It felt like a playoff atmosphere. The fans were...

Logan Morrison wants the fences moved in at Marlins Park

Marlins Park boasts some of the largest outfield dimensions of any stadium in the majors so it’s no surprise that some of the team’s hitters would like to see the fences moved in. Count Logan Morrison among them. Morrison has blasted five home runs in 158 plate appearances on the road this season compared to just one home run in 155 plate appearances at home. While he doesn’t...

VIDEO: Marlins A.J. Ramos cuts the rug with an effeminate dance during rain delay

Ah, the life of a baseball player.  Wake up at your l, get to work in the middle of the afternoon, relax in the clubhouse, warm up, play a game, go to dinner, hit the bed late.  Well all that can be thrown off with a rain delay, which gives the players even more time to kill.  Apparently Miami Marlins RHP A.J. Ramos  has a feminine side that he wants to let out, as evidence by this...
