He left after allowing seven runs in 2 1-3 innings and took the loss, which left him 4-4 with an ERA of 3.55. Losing Skid Hits Five

The Miami Marlins lost their fifth straight game on Saturday as their interstate rivals won 13-4.   The Tampa Bay Rays now lead the 2012 Citrus two games to none with four to play.   The skid which has landed Miami in fourth place in the division is reminiscent of the team’s historically bad June in 2011.   On the month, the Marlins are now 2-6 following a May that saw them...

Marlins Park May Be 'Tacky,' But Fenway Could Improve by Adding Some of Miami's Best Features (Video)

The Marlins' new ballpark, for better or for worse, gets people talking. People always seem to have an opinion about Fenway Park, too, although the two stadiums won't often be compared in the same sentence. Nevertheless, NESN Nation's Dan Duquette asked our Twitter followers if there was anything about Marlins Park that fans wouldn't mind seeing back in Boston. Check...

The Miami Marlins' retractable roof is open for their game against the Boston Red Sox, a surprising development with South Florida's steamy rainy season under way.
