According to Rotoworld.com Damaso Marte threw a 25-pitch batting practice session today in Tampa. They also said that he could begin a rehab assignment as soon as later this week.I'm not really a big Marte fan, nor do I think he's going to make that much of a difference, but adding another lefty to the pen is a good thing.If the Yankees feel the same way as I do about Marte but still want a lefty, they might want to look at Zach Kroenke and his 1.17 ERA in Triple-A Scranton. Lefties are hitting just .178 against him this year.
