Mike Puma of the NY Post reported that Mets prospect Matt Harvey is “not a consideration” for now to replace the injured Dillon Gee, but that the door is being left open for a promotion later in the season.

Dillon Gee was hospitalized in New York after experiencing numbness in his fingers and will be placed on the DL.
An MRI revealed a clot in the artery in his right shoulder, the team announced.
The Mets issued the dollowing statement:
“On Sunday, Dillon Gee complained of numbness in the fingers of his right hand. Yesterday, after extensive testing, Dillon was found to have a clot in an artery in his right shoulder and doctors at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City used a catheter to break up the clot.”
