Catcher Joe Mauer was the only Minnesota Twins player to crack the top five in any position for this year's All-Star Game voting after the first ballot update was announced Tuesday.Mauer is currently third among all American League catchers with 637,364 votes. Texas catcher Mike Napoli is the top vote-getter with over 1.2 million votes, while Matt Wieters is also ahead of Mauer.Mauer has appeared in four All-Star games in his nine-year career, including three straight from 2008-10. He also appeared in the 2006 All-Star game, and took part in the Home Run Derby in 2009.This season, Mauer is batting .298 with 25 RBI and three home runs in 52 games. He played in just 82 games last season due to injuries, but has stayed relatively healthy in 2012.Despite a team-high 11 home runs and 39 RBI, Twins outfielder Josh Willingham is not among the top 15 vote-getters for American League outfielders. Josh Hamilton of Texas, the Yankees' Curtis Granderson and Nelson Cruz of the Rangers have received the most votes among AL outfielders.In-stadium voting will end on June 22, while the rosters will be unveiled July 1. The 2012 All-Star game will be played on July 10 in Kansas City.Follow Tyler Mason on Twitter.
