2011 in review: Hanson was the Braves best starter from the end of April until the All-Star break, going 10-2 during that stretch. He was 4-0 with a 2.62 ERA in June and allowed only two earned runs in 14 innings in his first two July starts. Hanson had shoulder problems and made only five more starts, finishing at 11-7 with a 3.60 ERA.
Career highlight: After a no decision in his first career start on June 7, 2009, Hanson won five straight games for a 5-0 start to his MLB career. He finished his rookie year 11-4 with a 2.89 ERA.
