Mets Jambalinka: Mike Pelfrey, Daniel Herrera, Brandon Nimmo

Right now Scott Hairston, David Wright and Kirk Nieuwenhuis are in baseball’s solitary, as they are all out with oblique injuries. I think I’ve learned more anatomy following baseball than I ever did in school. Anyway...

Pelf, Offense Struggle in 7-1 Loss To The Cards

This afternoon, Pelfrey struggled again and gave up 4 ER off 2 HR in 4.1 IP, and sent the Mets on their way to a 7-1 defeat. Summary It was a tough day for Mike Pelfrey, who started opposite Adam Wainwright. It’s early in spring training, but a line of 4 ER, 2 HR, and 6 H in only about 4 innings is not encouraging. I don’t have a good feeling about Francisco, but we’ve got...

I got a guy. This guy, among other things, hands me books every so often. A lot of these books are acquired before their release. I don't know how he gets them, and I don't ask because it's really none of my business. Most of the books he hands me are sports related books, and the same good intentions that roads are paved with are the ones that I have in terms of reading...
