According to Ken Davidoff of Newsday is reporting that the mets are interested in Kiko Calero. The Mets have been interested in Calero for several years and once they realized Escobar wasn't going to be ready to start the season their interest increased. But apparently the Mets aren't willing to offer a major league contract and rightfully so, Calero has a should er injury that he has been able to play through but many feel will eventually require surgery...#Mets would have interest in Kiko Calero on a minor-league deal.
