Last Night’s Quick Scores Las Vegas topped Salt Lake, 9-7. Binghamton defeated Portland, 6-5. St. Lucie had the day off. Savannah topped Greenville, 4-1. Prospect Pipeline Zack Wheeler was arguably rustier in yesterday’s start, than he was in his first game back from his brief DL stint. His three walks were the most he’s given up since April 25. In his two starts from returning from the DL, he has pitched in nine innings, and has six strikeouts to five walks. He also has given up four home runs. Wheeler is as rusty as the Tin Man right now. MMN’s Player of The Week, Josh Rodriguez, continued to scorch the ball yesterday. He was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Allan Dykstra is having himself a solid season. The 2008 first round draft pick was 3-for-5 with two doubles and a home run in yesterday’s win for Binghamton.
