Updated Post 7:40 PM Straight from the files of Believe It Or Not, Mike Puma of the New York Post reported via Twitter that Ike Davis is unlikely to be demoted before the end of the weekend. “Was told Ike is on double, secret probation, but likely still be a Met on Friday. Mets will use weekend to get a “better understanding.” If the Mets still need more time to get a better understanding of Davis, they’re not as smart as I thought they were.
