It's being reported that Omar Minaya met with super agent Scott Boras over his free agent clients. Of course, they had to discuss Matt Holliday but one of the other names that came up was Rick Ankiel.The former pitcher turned outfielder has spent his entire career in St. Louis. Since becoming an outfielder he has spent most of his time in center field but has at least 50 games at both corners. In three seasons he has a .251 BA with a .452 Slg. pct., in 2008 he hit 25 HRs and the past two years he has hit 21 doubles in each of those seasons.
