Miguel Cairo on Team: "We Stink"

Reds veteran Miguel Cairo likely said what every Reds fan was thinking after the team's 10-9 home loss to the Mets on Thursday. It marked the first time the Mets had ever swept a 4-game series from Cincy in the Queen City -- dropping the struggling Redlegs to 6.5 games off the pace in the NL Central. Cairo, a 16-year veteran of the league, had this to say after the series finale, "We stink right now, as a team. We stink. We're not doing the things to win games. It's not like everything's going wrong, you've got to go out there and make it happen." Cairo on team, "We stink". On welcoming the San Francisco Giants to town this weekend he added, "We’ve got to go out there and expect to win. Right now we’re not playing like it.
