Trout removed from game for precautionCredit: AP The Los Angeles Angels disappointing season continues with more bad news, as reigning 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up Mike Trout left Sunday’s game with hamstring tightness.  His removal from the game seemed precautionary, but the Angels suffer another blow for what appears to be a $127M payroll that will result in no playoff appearance.  The Angels have already have 3-time MVP Albert Pujols out for what might be the year and having lost ace Jered Weaver for over a month earlier in the season.. Trout appeared to grimace after flying out to center field in the 5th inning, the first time he was retired in the game after a single and double.  He sits with a batting average of .333, second place to league-leader Miguel Cabrera by 27 points as Cabrera chases the triple crown.  Trout’s speed is a key to the Angels offense and a hamstring at less than 100% would affect his ability to do the things he does on both the basepaths and in center field.  The Angels host the Cleveland Indians in Los Angeles tomorrow evening, by then we should know more about the severity of Trout’s hamstring. - David Whitlock Be sure to like our Facebook Page Or follow us on Twitter - David Whitlock Follow @lhd_on_sports - Blog Follow @RBTS_baseball - Sports-Kings Follow @realsportskings The post Mike Trout leaves game with hamstring injury, considered day-to-day appeared first on Reading Between The Seams.
