Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson returned to New York last night in the Broadway debut of his one-man show “Undisputed Truth”, running through August 12 at the Longacre Theater.
The 46-year old Tyson, originally from the rough streets of Brooklyn, opened the show with a welcome and a comical promise.
“Welcome to my living room. You will all leave with two ears.”
The audience, which included celebrities such as New York Yankee stars Derek Jeter, C.C. Sabathia and Curtis Granderson, Donald Trump, Spike Lee, who directed this Broadway version of Tyson’s autobiography that premiered at the MGM Grand in April, Ahmad Rashad, Jake LaMotta and Tony Danza, were guests in the champion’s ‘living room’ for the following two hours.
