Miles activated, Marmol to keep job

After last night’s win the Cubs activated Aaron Miles from the disabled list and optioned Jake Fox to AAA. In other news, Lou says he’s sticking with Carlos Marmol in the 8th inning, which is kind of stubborn. ‘‘I told him today I’ve got all the confidence in the world in him, and I haven’t even thought about removing him from that spot,’’ Piniella said, adding that the way to get Marmol out his funk is to ‘‘just keep pitching him.
