Three pitchers are going tonight, who didn’t give up an earned run in their season debut, Kris Johnson, Stolmy Pimentel and Tyler Glasnow. Indianapolis has a doubleheader today. The second game is a make-up of the Thursday night rain out. No starter has been announced for the second game as of yet. West Virginia completed their Thursday night game prior to yesterday’s regularly scheduled game. Pimentel threw a two-hitter over six innings in his debut AAA: Indianapolis (5-3) @ Columbus (2-5) 4:35pm DH Probable starter: Kris Johnson (1-0, 0.00) and TBD Yesterday’s Result: Columbus 7, Indianapolis 6 Kris Johnson will make his second start of the season tonight. His debut was also against Columbus and he went five shutout innings, allowing six hits and two walks, while striking out five batters. Last season, he split the year between Altoona and Indianapolis, going a combined 8-4, 3.19 in 13 starts and 22 relief appearances. In 101.2 innings, he had 75 strikeouts, a .237 BAA and a 1.45 GO/AO ratio. An Indianapolis team preview can be viewed here. AA: Altoona (4-4) VS Harrisburg (4-5) 6:30pm Probable starter: Stolmy Pimentel (0-0, 0.00) Yesterday’s Result:  Harrisburg 4, Altoona 0 Stolmy Pimentel will make his second start of the season tonight. In his season debut, he threw six shutout innings on the road against Erie. He allowed just two hits, walked one and had four strikeouts. Pimentel will be making his 39th career start in the Eastern League. In those starts, he is a combined 6-16, 5.76 in 172 innings, with 120 strikeouts and a 1.50 WHIP. He made two appearances for the Pirates in Spring Training, allowing one run over 3.2 innings. An Altoona team preview can be viewed here. High-A: Bradenton (0-8) VS St Lucie (6-2) 6:30pm Probable starter: Adrian Sampson (0-0, 10.12) Yesterday’s Result: St Lucie 6  Bradenton 5 in 12 innings Adrian Sampson will make his second start of the season for Bradenton tonight. In his season debut, he allowed six runs over 2.2 innings, three of those runs were earned. He gave up seven hits, one walk and recorded two strikeouts. He played last year for State College, after being drafted in the fifth round of the amateur draft. There, Sampson made nine starts and two relief appearances, going 0-1, 2.95 in 42.2 innings, with 44 strikeouts and a .241 BAA. A Bradenton team preview can be viewed here. Low-A: West Virginia (2-7) @ Asheville (6-3) 6:05pm Probable starter: Tyler Glasnow (0-0, 0.00) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia 11, Asheville 4 (game one) Asheville 9, West Virginia 7 (game two) Tyler Glasnow will make his second start of the season tonight. He threw five shutout innings, giving up four hits, no walks and he struck out six batters. He made ten starts in the GCL last year, going 0-3, 2.10 in 34.1 innings, with 40 strikeouts. Glasnow received a late season promotion to State College and pitched four innings in his only start, allowing two unearned runs on four hits, a walk and four strikeouts.
