Francisco Liriano will make his second rehab start tonight, moving up from Bradenton to Altoona. Jose Contreras is expected to join Altoona as well.  The Curve will play a doubleheader today, due to their Friday night game getting rained out. Francisco Liriano continues his rehab tonight in Altoona AAA: Indianapolis (11-5) @ Louisville (8-7) 2:05pm Probable starter:  Brandon Cumpton (0-0, 6.75) Yesterday’s Result: Indianapolis 4, Louisville 1 Brandon Cumpton will make his fourth start of the season tonight, his second for Indianapolis. In two starts for Altoona, he was 0-1, 7.45 in 9.2 innings, with 11 hits, five walks and seven strikeouts. He started Monday for Indy on the road in Toledo and went 5.1 innings, allowing six hits and three walks, while striking out two batters. Cumpton has a 2.50 GO/AO ratio and has consistently been strong in that area throughout his career. AA: Altoona (6-8) @ Harrisburg (8-6) 7:00pm Probable starter: Tyler Waldron (0-2, 4.50) and Francisco Liriano(NR) Yesterday’s Result: Altoona was rained out Francisco Liriano will make his second rehab start tonight. On Monday night, he pitched three perfect innings for Bradenton, striking out six batters. Tyler Waldron will be making his third start of the season tonight. He has picked up losses in each of his two outings, though he pitched well in his second game. Waldron allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk in six innings during his season debut. In his last outing, he went six innings again, this time giving up just two runs on six hits and a walk. Waldron got 11 outs via ground balls in his debut, but in his second outing he had a 5/6 GO/AO ratio. High-A: Bradenton (3-12) VS Palm Beach (9-6) 6:30pm Probable starter: Eliecer Navarro (0-3, 4.38) Yesterday’s Result: Bradenton 6, Palm Beach 5 Eliecer Navarro will make his third start of the season tonight. He has also pitched once in relief and has picked up losses in all three appearances. Navarro went three innings in relief during his season debut, allowing one run on four hits, while striking out four. In his first start, he allowed three runs over six innings of work, giving up seven hits and two walks. He ran into trouble in his last start against St Lucie at home, allowing three runs and six hits in 3.1 innings. Navarro has three walks and ten strikeouts in 12. 1 innings, while posting a 1.50 GO/AO ratio. Low-A: West Virginia (7-9) VS Hagerstown (9-7) 7:05pm Probable starter: Clay Holmes (1-0, 2.57) Yesterday’s Result: Hagerstown 13, West Virginia 2 Clay Holmes will make his fourth start of the season tonight. He has been strong in his last two outings, after a rough season debut. In his first game, Holmes allowed five runs(four earned) over 3.2 innings, giving up five hits and four walks. Since then, he has pitched 10.1 scoreless innings, allowing just five hits. He has had control issues, surrendering ten walks in his 14 innings. Holmes has 13 strikeouts, a 2.63 GO/AO ratio and a .192 BAA. Recent Transactions 4/19 Released Alex Valdez 4/19 Bradenton added Junior Sosa to their roster.
