Luis Heredia is scheduled to make his fifth start of the season tonight, coming off a rain-shortened game last time out. The GCL Pirates and both Dominican League affiliates were off yesterday. All three resume play today. Tyler Glasnow was originally scheduled to start yesterday. The West Virginia game was suspended in the third inning due to rain and Glasnow’s start was pushed back until Wednesday. The game will be completed today prior to the start of the regularly scheduled game. Indianapolis in now on their All-Star break. They will resume play on Thursday. Indianapolis is in first place in their division, with a 13 game lead. They have a 33-18 home record and their 28-20 road record is the best in the International League. AA: Altoona (42-51) vs Bowie (48-45) 7:00pm Probable starter: Ethan Hollingsworth (6-3, 3.12) Yesterday’s Result: Altoona 9, Akron 4 Ethan Hollingsworth will make his sixth start of the season. He has also pitched 15 times in relief. As a starter, he is 3-1, 2.70 in 27.1 innings, with a .184 BAA. In his last start, Hollingsworth went six innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits, one walk and two strikeouts. At home this season, he is 4-0, 2.10 in three starts and nine relief appearances. High-A: Bradenton (32-59 overall, 6-17 2nd half) @ Tampa (39-49) 7:00pm  Probable starter:  Adrian Sampson (3-6, 5.66) Yesterday’s Result: Tampa 4, Bradenton 3 Adrian Sampson will make his 17th start of the season tonight. He has also pitched once in relief. Sampson has thrown a total of 89 innings this year, allowing 116 hits, 16 homers and 15 walks. He has 52 strikeouts, a 1.10 GO/AO ratio and a .314 BAA. In his last start, he went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk. Sampson faced Tampa on 5/23, going five innings while giving up two unearned runs on nine hits and a walk. He has allowed more hits and homers than anyone else in the Pirates system. Low-A: West Virginia (49-42 overall, 12-9 2nd half) @ Asheville (48-41) 5:05pm Probable starter: Luis Heredia (1-1, 1.59) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia was suspended in the 2nd inning Luis Heredia will make his fifth start of the season tonight. He has pitched 17 innings, allowing 11 hits, ten walks and he has 12 strikeouts. In his last start, Heredia went three shutout innings before weather suspended the game. He gave up one hit and a walk. His last three starts have been on the road. Heredia has an 0.70 GO/AO ratio and a .196 BAA. He opened his season with five shutout innings at home. Short-Season A: Jamestown (17-10) @ Lowell (15-11) 7:05pm Probable Starter: Cody Dickson (0-0, 4.76) Yesterday’s Result: Jamestown 1, Lowell 0 Cody Dickson will make his fifth start of the season tonight. In his opening game, he threw three no-hit innings, walking one and striking out six batters. In his last start, he gave up two runs on four hits and two walks. In 11.1 innings this year, Dickson has 18 strikeouts. He was the fourth round draft pick of the Pirates this year. He threw 95 innings during his college season.
