Altoona has a doubleheader today. The second game is a makeup of a game from 6/13 that was postponed by rain. The GCL Pirates and both DSL teams were all off yesterday. All three resume play today. Zack Dodson looks to turn things around tonight AAA: Indianapolis (51-27) vs Charlotte (34-43) 7:05pm Probable starter: Andy Oliver (3-2, 3.21) Yesterday’s Result: Charlotte 6, Indianapolis 2 Andy Oliver will make his 16th start of the season tonight. He has pitched a total of 75.2 innings, allowing 55 hits, four homers and a league leading 67 walks. Oliver also leads the league with 86 strikeouts and has a 1.13 GO/AO ratio and a .204 BAA. In his last start, he gave up three runs over 4.2 innings, walking seven and striking out seven batters. It was the sixth time in his last eight starts that he walked at least six batters in a game. At home this year, Oliver is 1-1, 3.49 in eight games. AA: Altoona (34-39) vs New Britain (35-39) 6:00pm  DH Probable starter: Eliecer Navarro (0-0, 1.50) and Ethan Hollingsworth (3-3, 3.95) Yesterday’s Result: Bowie 1, Altoona Eliecer Navarro will make his second start since joining Altoona. In his first game, he went six innings, giving up two runs(one earned) on four hits and two walks, with five strikeouts. While with Bradenton, Navarro was 1-9, 2.86 in 11 starts and two relief outings He has 67 strikeouts this year in 75.1 innings. Ethan Hollingsworth will get the start in game two of the doubleheader. He has started twice and pitched 15 times in relief. In 43.1 innings, he has given up 39 hits, four homers and 15 walks. Hollingsworth has 26 strikeouts, a 1.06 GO/AO ratio and a .244 BAA. In his last start, he gave up one run on three hits over five innings. High-A: Bradenton (29-43 overall, 3-1 2nd half) @ St Lucie (39-31) 6:30pm Probable starter: Zack Dodson (1-5, 5.32) Yesterday’s Result: Bradenton 4, St Lucie 2 Zack Dodson will make his ninth start of the season tonight. He has also pitched once in relief. On the year, he has pitched a total of 44 innings, allowing 51 hits, four homers and 16 walks. He has 22 strikeouts, a 1.02 GO/AO ratio and a .280 BAA. He has been hit hard in the month of June, going 0-3, 8.80 in 15.1 innings. On the road, he is 0-3, 5.60 in four games, with a .303 BAA. Low-A: West Virginia (40-34 overall, 3-1 2nd half) vs Hagerstown (41-30) 7:05pm Probable starter: Jason Creasy (2-0, 3.92) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia 8, Lakewood 0 (game story) Jason Creasy will get his third start of the season tonight. He has also pitched 18 times out of the bullpen. In each of his starts, he has allowed three runs over three innings of work. Creasy has pitched a total of 43.2 innings this season, allowing 52 hits, six homers and nine walks. He has 42 strikeouts, a 1.10 GO/AO ratio and a .286 BAA. At home this year, he is 1-0, 3.38 in 11 appearances, all in relief. Short-Season A: Jamestown (4-2) @ State College (4-2) 7:05pm Probable Starter: Dovydas Neverauskas (0-0, 1.80) Yesterday’s Result: Jamestown 6, State College 5 Dovydas Neverauskas will make his second start of the season. In his first game, he went five innings, allowing one run on four hits, no walks and three strikeouts. He spent most of last season in the Gulf Coast League, where he made nine starts and one relief appearance. He also had a late season outing for State College in which he allowed one run on two hits and two walks in four innings, with four strikeouts. In the GCL, Neverauskas went 1-1, 4.08 in 35.1 innings, with 29 strikeouts and a .268 BAA. Rookie:  GCL Pirates (1-1) vs GCL Blue Jays (2-0) 12:00pm Probable Starter: Adrian Grullon (NR) Yesterday’s Result: Pirates were off Adrian Grullon will make his first start of the season today. He spent last year in the DSL, where he went  1-4, 4.23 in eight starts and a relief appearance. In 27.2 innings, he gave up 23 hits, no homers, 13 walks, while picking up 22 strikeouts. Grullon had a 1.46 GO/AO ratio and a .225 BAA. He made his pro debut in 2011, throwing five innings over three outings. For a preview of the GCL roster, check out our article here.
