In Altoona tonight, Casey Sadler makes his second start since coming back from a knee injury caused by a ball hit back up the middle from the first batter of the game in his June 30th start. Casey Sadler was solid in his first outing after missing a month AAA: Indianapolis (65-49) vs Scranton/WB (55-57) 7:15pm Probable starter:  David Bromberg (0-1, 3.60) Yesterday’s Result: Scranton/WB 2, Indianapolis 1  in 12 innings David Bromberg will make his second start since joining Indianapolis. In his debut, he went five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks, taking the loss. With Altoona, he was 5-8, 3.71 in 16 starts and five relief appearances. Bromberg has pitched a total of 109.1 innings, allowing 103 hits, five homers and 44 walks. He has 104 strikeouts, an 0.91 GO/AO ratio and a .254 BAA. AA: Altoona (51-57) vs Akron (53-58) 7:00pm Probable starter: Casey Sadler (8-5, 3.39) Yesterday’s Result: Altoona 2, Binghamton 1 in 13 innings Casey Sadler will make his second start since coming back from a right knee contusion that sidelined him for a month. In his return game, he went five innings, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks. He did not record a strikeout. On the year, he has made 18 starts, throwing a total of 101 innings, giving up 92 hits, nine homers and 28 walks. Sadler has 54 strikeouts, a 1.78 GO/AO ratio and a .247 BAA. High-A: Bradenton (41-66 overall, 15-24 2nd half) @ Daytona (56-45) 7:05pm  Probable starter: Pat Ludwig (0-1, 4.21) Yesterday’s Result: Dunedin 5, Bradenton 1 Pat Ludwig will get his fifth start for Bradenton tonight. He has also pitched three times in relief. Prior to joining the Marauders, Ludwig went 6-0, 3.12 in 23 relief appearances and one start for West Virginia. On the year, he has thrown 74.2 innings, allowing 68 hits, five homers and 20 walks. He has 59 strikeouts, a 1.56 GO/AO ratio and a .244 BAA. In his last start, he went 5.2 innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks. Low-A: West Virginia (60-47 overall, 23-14 2nd half) vs Lakewood (44-63) 7:05pm Probable starter: Jason Creasy (2-3, 3.27) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia 3, Lakewood 2 Jason Creasy will get his ninth start of the season. He has also pitched 18 times in relief. As a starter, he is 0-3, 3.19 in 36.2 innings. He ran into trouble in his last start, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks in five innings. His prior start was also similar, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks in five innings. Prior to that, Creasy had a stretch of four starts in which he allowed one earned run over 20.2 innings. Short-Season A: Jamestown (27-15) vs Staten Island (18-25) 7:05pm Probable Starter: Chad Kuhl (1-2, 0.82) Yesterday’s Result: Jamestown 2, Staten Island 1 Chad Kuhl will make his seventh start of the season tonight. He has pitched 22 innings this year, allowing 17 hits, no homers and three walks. He has 18 strikeouts, an 0.92 GO/AO ratio and a .205 BAA. In his last start, he went two innings, giving up three runs(all unearned) on three hits and no walks. He has gone three straight starts without issuing a walk, after giving up one walk in each of his first three outings. Presley hopes to contribute down the stretch

OF Alex Presley, who has been on the shuttle between Triple-A Indianapolis and Pittsburgh, was recalled by the Pirates on July 29 and has seen action in both left field and right field.
