It may be a holiday for most people, but there are still seven games on the minor league schedule today. Only Bradenton has the day off. Creasy has pitched great in his last two starts AAA: Indianapolis (56-32) vs Louisville (43-44) 6:05pm Probable starter:  Andy Oliver (4-2, 3.35) Yesterday’s Result: Louisville 4, Indianapolis 3 Andy Oliver will make his 18th start of the season tonight. He has pitched 88.2 innings, allowing 65 hits and four homers, while striking out 95 batters. He also has a 1.11 GO/AO ratio and a .207 BAA. Oliver has been extremely wild this season though, giving up 77 walks, including six or more in seven of his last ten games. He leads the league in strikeouts, with three more than the second highest total. His walks total is 25 more than the second highest in the International League. AA: Altoona (37-47) vs Erie (43-40) 7:00pm Probable starter: Eliecer Navarro (0-2, 6.35) Yesterday’s Result: Altoona 6, Binghamton 3 Eliecer Navarro will make his fourth start for Altoona tonight. Prior to joining the Curve, Navarro was 1-9, 2.86 in 11 starts and two relief appearances for Bradenton. In his first Altoona start, he allowed just one earned run on four hits over six innings. In his two starts since, he has given up 12 runs on 14 hits and six walks in 11 innings. On the year, he has pitched a total of 86.1 innings, allowing 80 hits, six homers and 21 walks. He has 76 strikeouts, a 0.79 GO/AO ratio and a .239 BAA. High-A: Bradenton (31-50 overall, 5-8 2nd half) @ Fort Myers (52-27) 6:30pm 7/5 Probable starter: TBD Yesterday’s Result: Ft Myers 11, Bradenton 5 Bradenton has off today. They will resume play on Friday facing Ft Myers again for one game, before returning home for a three game series against Charlotte. Bradenton has lost four straight games. Robby Rowland was originally scheduled to start the Friday night game, but he pitched out of the bullpen on Wednesday. Low-A: West Virginia (45-39 overall, 8-6 2nd half) vs Lexington (42-40) 7:05pm Probable starter: Jason Creasy (2-0, 3.21) Yesterday’s Result: Hagerstown 3, West Virginia 0 Jason Creasy will get his fifth start of the season tonight. He has also pitched 18 times in relief. In his last two starts combined, he has thrown a total of 9.2 shutout innings, allowing five hits, nine walks and striking out nine batters. His last start was a one-hitter over five innings against Lakewood. On the year, he has thrown a total of 53.1 innings, allowing 57 hits, six homers and 12 walks. Creasy has 51 strikeouts, a 1.12 GO/AO ratio and a .266 BAA. On the road, he is 1-0, 3.65 in 24.1 innings. Short-Season A: Jamestown (9-6) @ Auburn (6-9) 7:05pm Probable Starter: TBD Yesterday’s Result: Mahoning Valley 5, Jamestown 3 (game one) Jamestown 7, Mahoning Valley 3 (game two) No starter has been announced yet for tonight’s Jamestown game. When one is announced, we will update this article. Rookie:  GCL Pirates (5-6) vs GCL Tigers (4-2) 10:00am Probable Starter: Miguel Rosario (0-1, 3.86) Yesterday’s Result: Tigers 5, Pirates 3 Miguel Rosario will make his third start of the season today.  He went four innings in his debut, giving up two runs on two hits, one walk and he struck out six batters. In his last game, Rosario allowed four runs over three innings, though just one run was earned.  He spent last season in the DSL, where he made just three appearances. Rosario pitched 6.2 innings, giving up two runs on four hits, two walks and six strikeouts. DSL: Pirates1 (15-12) vs Rockies (15-13) 10:30am Yesterday’s Result: Pirates1 6, Mets2 1 DSL: Pirates2 (14-12) vs Orioles2 (10-17) 10:30am Yesterday’s Result: Pirates2 9, Reds 2 Recent Transactions 7/1 Casey Sadler placed on disabled list. Mel Rojas activated from disabled list. 7/1 John Kuchno added to West Virginia roster. Pat Ludwig promoted to Bradenton. 7/1 Colten Brewer placed on disabled list. 6/29 Bradenton places Zack Von Rosenberg and Alen Hanson on disabled list.
