This week 2K Sports released a 70 second trailer for the upcoming release of MLB 2K12. In my opinion, the trailer is actually pretty cool. It features cover boy Justin Verlander and an up and coming rookie Carter. Most people would argue that the Verlander/Carter matchup should have been something like Verlander/Pujols but I disagree. I feel the best feature of MLB 2K11 was the My Player Mode when you get to create a player and do what you can to make him a superstar. This trailer shows from the minors all the way up to what we all dream of , facing off against the best. addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fmysportsrumors.com%2Fblog%2F2012%2F02%2F03%2Fmlb-2k12-trailer%2F'; addthis_title = 'MLB+2K12+trailer'; addthis_pub = '';

You probably haven’t heard of him, but Brian “Pete” Peterson is an invaluable member of the Detroit Tigers organization. Don’t Even Think About Quoting Miguel Cabrera’s UZR/150 From 2008

Wow, I’m really harping on this Miguel Cabrera at third base thing, aren’t I? I promise I’ll write about something else eventually. Maybe. UZR/150* is a nice number, don’t get me wrong. It’s an easy way to take a career or a group of seasons and divide it out on a “per season” basis (UZR/150 is quite literally UZR per 150 games played at the position). But UZR/150...
