MLB Star Picks Auburn to Win NCAA Tournament

The Auburn basketball team is red hot after winning the SEC Tournament.

The Auburn Tigers went on a tear last week defeating South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Florida to win the SEC. They learned Sunday night that they'd be heading to Spokane, Washington to play against Yale as a four seed. They will most likely play San Diego State and UConn, the top-seeded team in the tournament if they keep on winning.

One of the biggest names in the MLB, Gunnar Henderson, has the Auburn Tigers doing nothing but winning in the NCAA Tournament. The Baltimore Orioles shortstop, and former Auburn baseball commit, has Auburn winning the national championship in his bracket.

Auburn's path to winning the NCAA Tournament on Henderson's bracket is:

Auburn takes down Yale in the first round.
The Tigers beat San Diego State in the round of 32.
The SEC champs upset the top team in the tournament, UConn in the Sweet 16.
Bruce Pearl's team battling and defeating the 7-seed Washington State in the Elite 8.

Henderson's final four consist of  Auburn, North Carolina, James Madison, and Tennessee. He's predicting an SEC championship game with Auburn taking down the Tennessee Vols in the national championship.

Henderson was committed to Butch Thompson and the Auburn Tigers. He was drafted in the second round of the 2019 MLB Draft and chose to play professional baseball. The Alabama native seems to still support the Auburn Tigers. 

Henderson has become one of the best shortstops in all of baseball. We will see how accurate his bracket is over the next few weeks.
