Chalk up another returning member of the World Series Champions.
ESPN Deportes is reporting that reliever Guillermo Mota has opted to remain with the Giants after signing a minor league deal with the black and orange this past weekend. Mota, while nothing special, certainly had his choice of suitors, especially in the National League West so it’s a bit shocking he accepted a minor league deal. Still, you’d assume Mota will make it out of Spring Training with the big boys.
