Matt Stairs cemented his place as baseball's ultimate journeyman when he took the field for the Washington Nationals earlier this season. It marked the 13th major-league franchise he has played for in his career, passing former pitchers Mike Morgan and Ron Villone for the record. The Nationals even did him the honor of spelling his name right on his No. 24 jersey -- one of nine numbers he's worn, for those scoring at home.
