Tests on Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones’ hands and wrists came back negative Monday. Jones had an MRI in Florida during an off day for the Orioles that showed contusions but no other damage. As a result, the Orioles said via Twitter that he will be able to continue playing when Baltimore starts a series Tuesday night in Boston. Jones also confirmed via Twitter that the tests were “all good” and he was headed to Boston. His left wrist was hit by a pitch last Wednesday in Toronto, but Jones was unsure what caused the pain in his right wrist. “It just didn't feel right,” Jones said. “I can feel it when I'm hitting. [The doctors] wanted to get a picture of it, and I wanted to get a picture of it, and see what's going on in there so we can be sure and relieve any doubt.” Jones is hitting .315 with a team-leading 16 homers and 34 RBI.
