From NESN:

David Price wasn’t alone when he got the keys to Tampa for his efforts during the 2012 season.
Price’s dog, Astro, was also given his own smaller set of keys as well. Astro even said a few words, which Price translated as, “Thank you.”
The Rays’ starter won the American League Cy Young Award last season after going 20-5 with a 2.56 ERA in 211 innings. Price had 205 strikeouts with just 59 walks.
Price thanked the city of Tampa via Twitter, saying he never dreamed he would get such an honor. He also posted a picture of their keys (seen above):
Thank you Tampa and Mayor Buckhorn for today!! Never even dreamed/thought of anything like it lockerz.com/s/268192114

Congrats to David Price, very well deserved....Funny, Price and the Rays play in St. Pete and the mayor and city ignore his accomplishments but the city of Tampa doesn't.....Rays need to move across the bay to Tampa! St. Pete could care less about the Rays.
