From NESN:

There have been 23 perfect games in Major League Baseball history. Fortunately for Bode Dockal, two of the 23 perfect games occurred during the first two games he's ever attended in person.

Paul Dockal brought his son Bode –– who is nine months old –– to Safeco Field on April 21. That afternoon, he was treated to a show when White Sox pitcher Philip Humber threw a perfect game against the Mariners. The opportunity to watch history unravel was a memorable moment for the Dockal family, who hail from the Chicago area and are avid White Sox fans.

But lightning would strike twice for them. Nearly four months after the momentous game, Paul and Bode returned to Safeco Field on Aug. 15 for their second game of the season and witnessed Felix Hernandez toss a perfect game.

"It’s one of those things that, I don’t think he could understand how important it was for me to be with him until he has a son of his own," Paul told MLB.com.

The odds of attending two perfect games in one's first two trips to an MLB game are improbable, but now, Bode will have a story to share when he grows up.

Adam Dunn's 400th Home Run Sends Fan Plunging Into Kauffman Stadium Fountain (Video)

People tend to make a bigger deal out of home run balls than they really should. With that in mind, it would be cool to catch a milestone, such as Adam Dunn's 400th career home run, which he hit in Kansas City on Saturday. But would that souvenir be worth a potential night in the slammer? One White Sox fan obviously thought so, as he went tumbling into the Kauffman Stadium fountains...

Fan arrested for diving after Adam Dunn's 400th homer

Your browser does not support iframes. Adam Dunn belted the 400th home run of his career on Saturday night, which is a massive feat for any slugger to accomplish. Unfortunately, not all White Sox fans were able to enjoy it. Dunn’s homer came at Kauffmann Stadium in Kansas City and fittingly landed in the fountains beyond the outfield bleachers. When the ball came down, a Chicago...

White Sox 'achieve' dubious milestones

It was a weekend of milestones for the Chicago White Sox, but not all of them were ones that left the team very excited. The Sox were swept for just the second time this season, as Kansas City beat them 5-2. With the Royals getting the win, it was also the first time in 21 years that Kansas City has now beat the Sox five straight times, and their record at Kauffman Stadium is now...

He was placed on the DL on Aug. 10. The first baseman is...

Chicago White Sox can’t figure out Royals

Despite being at the top of the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox could not catch up to the Kansas City Royals this weekend. In fact, the Royals’ starter Jeremy Guthrie had a no-hitter going until the seventh. Paul Konerko’s infield single put an end to...

Paul Dockal brought his newborn son Bode to Seattle's Safeco Field on April 21 and they were treated to a show when White Sox pitcher Philip Humber threw a perfect game against the Mariners. It was extra sweet for the Dockals, who hail from the Chicago area and...

Felix Hernandez-The King of Seattle!

I need to go pick some Lotto numbers! I’ve lucked into calling two perfect games and a combined no-no in the 2012 MLB season. There was the April 21 perfecto thrown by the White Sox Philip Humber against the Mariners at Safeco Field, on Fox. Then there was the six-pitcher combined no-no thrown June 8th by the Mariners against the Dodgers, again, at Safeco Field. The biggie was...

Sumlin: I'm not interested in kicking players off team

Texas and Texas A&M are in different conferences and apparently the school’s football coaches operate differently when it comes to player discipline, too.  Charlie Strong kicks players off his team, Kevin Sumlin likes to keep them around and turn them into men. That seems to be the opinion of the Aggies’ coach, anyway.  Sumlin said it’s easy to kick a guy off the team...
