The 2008 All-Star Game was my best memory of this season. It was done with style, class, and it was a terrific game. The best part about it was seeing Yankees Principal Owner Mr. George M. Steinbrenner III. It was a nice surprise to see The Boss in public, and it was a stirring..emotional moment for him. After all he did for the organization..he was very deserving. The fans gave him a great round of applause and a nice ovation. He bought the club for $10 million back in 1973 and built an empire. To top it all off?the ceremonial first pitches were thrown by Berra, Gossage, Ford, and Jackson. With the baseball world watching..surrounded by tons of living HOFers and the best fans in the world..it just doesn't get better than that. It is one of my favorite Yankee memories. Please feel free to share your favorite memory of the '08 season.
