Nats minor league wrap (4-30)

Syracuse Chiefs (AAA),13-8, last place The Chiefs fell 3-2 in Jeff Mandel’s AAA debut.  Mandel tossed 5 innings, allowed 4 hits and just 1 run.  A very solid debut for Mandel, after posting a 3.86 ERA in 4 starts at Harrisburg.  Josh Wilkie (2-2) took the loss out of the bullpen pitching .1 innings and allowing the winning run.  Kevin Mench was 2-4 with an RBI, Seth Bynum was 2-3 with a double and Chris Duncan was 3-4.  Harrisburg Senators (AA), 10-10 Sens were off last night.
