Wrist injuries are tricky to begin with, but hitters need their full optimal wrist mechanics in order to be successful so healing fully is a must.
What are the Yankees going to?
Normally the Yankees can weather injuries like this, but thanks to Hal Steinbrenner’s unproductive and frugality off-season, they cannot.
This team has ZERO depth off the bench, as Juan Rivera, Dan Johnson and Matt Diaz are not players who can keep a team winning.
As I have said all off-season fielding a ball club of veterans, many coming off of major injuries without viable back-ups, is a lose-lose situation. (more…)
