A few notes from today after a great win against the Brewers...

-Brandon Jones has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Indianapolis, according to Dejan Kovacevic. So not much of a change, except Jones isn't on the 40-man roster anymore. He is eligible for minor league free agency at the end of the season if he isn't on the 40-man roster at the time.

-Brian Burres will make the start tomorrow in Los Angeles. I'm wondering if the Pirates will keep carrying 13 pitchers, or if they will make a move tonight to add a hitter (maybe calling up Steve Pearce and demoting Brian Bass?).

-At the end of DK's game story for today, he notes that Jeff Karstens will pitch on Sunday.
