Whoa...

Well, first of all.

Happy Birthday Grady Sizemore.

Mr. Grizzle celebrated number 27 in grand-style. His two-run shot capped off an big fourth inning that put the Indians up by six.

So really, that was awesome.

Let's start with Carl Pavano.

My gawd.

There's starts that he just goes out there and is awesome.

This was one of those starts.

Carl goes eight innings, strikes out four and walked just one. The Tigs scrapped together a run at the end there, but Carl was mowing them down, throwing strikes, and working at a great pace.

69% of his pitches thrown for strikes.

You know I like my strike throwers.

And he got the run-support he needed, so let's talk about that.

All starters minus Hafner had hits in this game and four hitters had two RBI.

Hafner hit into that double-play, that jerk..

But the big hit in the game if you ask me came from Andy Marte. Welcome to the party Marty! Marte started the third inning scoring off with the double that knocked in two runs. He also scored another run when he walked to load the bases.

Then we've got that Trevor Crowe fella.

The youngin's are getting it done.

Great game from him and with Francisco gone, he's pretty much going to get the bulk of the left field starts and if he keeps hitting, he'll keep LaPorta down and Gimenez restrained to catcher and first base.

Anyway... We've got the Twins coming up on Tuesday after an off-day. Haven't seen the Twins in a while. David Huff and Scott Baker go at it.
