After tonight's rubber match with the Tigers, Boston will have 21 games left in their 2013 season. Seven of those games (or exactly 33.3%) will be against The Bronx Embalmers. Keep in mind that if the Red Sox lose tonight and the Yankees win, they will trail Boston by—you guessed it—seven games. Which is why it will be important to disabuse The Pinstriped Posers of any notion that they can have a miracle comeback (fueled mostly by The Fradulent One's return). Interestingly, Ryan Dempster will not be in the Sox rotation for the four-game series at The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street. Coincidence?
