The Baltimore Orioles are trying to find ways to add to their lineup.
Michael Morse and Josh Willingham have both been claimed by the Orioles after being placed on revocable waivers. Now the Orioles must find a way to acquire one or both of the players before this weekend comes to a close.
Baltimore is desperate to improve their options at designated hitter which has become a carousel of productivity this season.
The return of Wilson Betemit may provide some offense from the spot in the lineup but so too would the addition of Morse. While the 31-year-old has just a .226/.283/.410 line in 76 games this season he does pack some punch with 13 home runs.
Morse is best known for his four year stay with the Washington Nationals where he compiled a .294/.343/.514 line with 67 home runs over 378 games. He will become a free agent at seasons end and the Mariners may look to gain a low-end prospect for his services over the seasons final month.
Another option for the Orioles is M...
