The Baltimore Orioles have placed veteran designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero on the 15-day disabled list with a broken bone in his right hand.Guerrero has been out of the lineup since being hit on the hand by a Kyle Weiland pitch on July 10. The move was made retroactive to July 11, meaning Guerrero could return as early as the 26th.Guerrero, 36, is batting .279 with seven homers and 31 RBIs in 312 at-bats in his first season in Baltimore.The Orioles made a handful of other moves Sunday, recalling outfielder Matt Angle from Triple-A Norfolk to take Guerrero's spot while promoting pitcher Troy Patton from Norfolk and sending lefty Pedro Viola to Double-A Bowie.
