Found June 03, 2013 on MLB Injury News:
Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy will soon begin preparations to return to game action. MASN's Roch Kubatko reports that Bundy received permission from team physicians to begin a throwing program on June 10. This was the same day that the Orioles projected for Bundy's return, which puts the right-hander right on schedule. Kubatko also shared the news with his followes in a mid-afternoon tweet. Bundy cleared to resume throwing progression by Dr. Andrews, which will start June 10 #orioles — Roch Kubatko (@masnRoch) June 3, 2013 When ready, Bundy will join the Orioles' Double-A Bowie Baysox of the Eastern League. Bundy has not pitched in the regular season due to a strained right elbow he suffered during Spring Training. He received pain injections but has not performed baseball activities since then. He has 1.2 innings of Major League experience (in 2012) and has not allowed a run. With three Minor League teams last year, Bundy combined for a 9-3 record and 2.08 ERA in 23 starts. He struck out 119 hitters in 103.2 innings. The Orioles are in second place in the American League East, 2.5 games out, as play begins on June 3. They have a team ERA of 4.50, but they are scoring enough runs to overcome the high number of runs allowed. They may need some pitching help -- whether from Bundy or elsewhere -- to overcome the Boston Red Sox and fight off the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays as the season progresses. Last June, Baltimore Orioles catcher Matt Wieters belted a three-run home run that landed on the street in front of the warehouse behind Camden Yards. The feat is no small task. It is had been done just 68 times in the stadium's 21-year history. To commemorate the accomplishment, the team places plaques along the street with the name of the players who hit the street on a fly...

Davis is currently first in home runs, second in batting average and second in runs driven in, with Cabrera second, first, and first and those respective categories. With Cabrera...

Orioles fan uses umbrella to reach ball stuck on railing (Video)

Your browser does not support iframes. A Baltimore Orioles fan used an umbrella to reach a baseball stuck on a railing during the third inning of Sunday's game at Camden Yards. The ball somehow landed on a girder below an upper level of seats at the stadium. Some fans in the front row tried to reach over the railing to grab it, but an usher wisely advised them against...

Orioles’ Adam Jones wears huge hat (VIDEO) When you’re on pace to hit 31 home runs, drive in 105, score 119 and bang out 213 hits like Orioles center fielder Adam Jones is, you can do what you want.  And that includes borrowing the hat belonging to the Orioles’ mascot (who is creatively called “The Oriole Bird”).  The poor bird lost his hat during the national anthem and Jones didn’t return it. Judging...

Adam Jones tries Orioles Bird mascot's giant cap on for size

Adam Jones had a little fun after the Orioles Bird dropped his over-sized cap into the Baltimore dugout after a seventh-inning rendition of "God Bless America." A.J. put the size 26 cap on his head and paraded in front of the bench like some Cosby Kids cartoon character. The O's went on to beat the Detroit Tigers, 4-2, and you can bet more than a few teams might...

Here's an interesting press release from the Baltimore Orioles about the MLB All-Star Game voting. I guess the results are a byproduct of winning and increased national profile of the Orioles. In addition, the fans have been coming back to Camden Yards and I assume ramping up the results so far. Keep stuffing the ballots, everyone. Link to the voting results so far...

Orioles 4, Astros 1

Baltimore starter Chris Tillman swears he enjoys pitching at Camden Yards. With the success he's had away from there this season, he might be starting to hope his spot in the rotation always comes up on the road. Tillman threw seven solid innings and the Orioles ended Houston's six-game winning streak with a 4-1 win over the Astros on Tuesday night. Tillman (5-3) allowed...

Orioles take two of three from Tigers; Gausman solid on Sunday

The Orioles has a very good weekend on the field, taking two of three from the Detroit Tigers in dramatic fashion. They took on another favored World Series contender and held their own. As the Tigers have learned, any lead you build up against the Orioles isn’t safe. On Sunday, the Birds came back from behind, using a three-run seventh inning to erase a 2-0 deficit and...
