He said prior to Friday’s 2-1 win over the Phillies that he could understand why the Marlins might fire him after one season on the job, but he thinks that would be unfair. “I think it would be unfair if they fire me after just one chance,” Guillen said in Spanish according to a translator, the Palm Beach Post reports. “I don’t think they should worry about me.
