The most exciting thing this off-season for the World Series champions is the status update of Pablo Sandoval’s weight. It’s “Panda Weight Watch 2011.”
According to Rich Aurilia via Hank Schulman, Pablo Sandoval has lost 17 pounds. Apparently, Aurilia saw Pablo at a shopping mall late last year and said he looked good.
After having his most disappointing season since being in the major leagues, Sandoval was challenged by general manager Brian Sabean to turn his act around. Sabean issued a warning that if Sandoval did not make a change to his diet and come back next year in better shape than he could be sent to the minors.
