Eli's MLB Rumors:
After learning that shortstop Everth Cabrera has a broken hand, the Padres reacquired Chris Burke from the Seattle Mariners for a player to be named later. The Padres traded Chris Burke to the Mariners just three weeks ago, and is hitting just .237 in 38 at-bats with the Mariners Triple-A team. The Padres acquired Cabrera through the Rule 5 draft from the Rockies, and traded Burke after deciding that Cabrera had earned a spot on the 25-man roster.Burke probably won't have much impact on the Padres.
