The San Diego Padres are getting more whole as the Memorial Day holiday approaches.
Ahead of Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies, San Diego activated star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. and first baseman Eric Hosmer from the injured list. Both landed on the IL last week due to MLB's health and safety protocols, and Tatis tested positive for COVID-19. Hosmer, meanwhile, was deemed a high-risk close contact.
The pair made the starting lineup for Wednesday's outing.

Right fielder Wil Myers also tested positive for COVID-19 during the club's coronavirus-related issues and remains unavailable. According to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez and the Associated Press, Padres manager Jayce Tingler said Myers could be activated for the upcoming weekend series versus the Seattle Mariners.
The Padres started Wednesday's action at 26-17 overall and only half a game behind the San Francisco Giants for first place in the National League West standings.
