The San Diego Padres made it two in a row over the Atlanta Braves, as Chase Headley homered and starter Andrew Cashner out-pitched Tim Hudson. Hudson was sharp again on Tuesday night. The Braves got on the board first when Freddie Freeman singled in the 1st inning to score Andrelton Simmons. It did not take the Padres long to get that run back as Chase Headley sent a ball over the right field wall, to tie it up at 1 after the first inning. The Padres added 1 run in both the 2nd and 3rd innings. Nick Hundley’s double in the 2nd, and Carlos Quentin’s single in the 3rd, padded the Padres lead to 3-1. The score stayed that way until the 6th, when the Braves cut the Padres lead down to a single run. With runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs, Freddie Freeman grounded into a double play. The double play cleared the bases, but did...
