The Giants snapped their four-game losing streak to the Colorado Rockies in dramatic fashion Saturday afternoon, as center fielder Angel Pagan hit a game-winning, inside-the-park home run in the tenth inning to give the team a 6-5 victory. It was the Giants’ fourteenth come-from-behind win of the season and it pushed the Giants’ record to 27-22. With the Giants down 5-4 in the bottom of the tenth inning and staring at their third loss in a row, Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford drew a leadoff walk off of Rockies closer Rafael Betancourt to give the Giants hope. After pinch hitter Guillermo Quiroz moved Crawford into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt, Pagan launched an 0-1 Betancourt offering into the right-center field “Triples Alley” area. The ball took an awkward bounce away from the pursuing right fielder Michael Cuddyer, and that allowed Pagan to motor all the way around third base and across home plate to score as the sellout crowd went into a frenzy.
